Heya everyone! Another week and I have some photos! Today I edited in Filmulator for the first time and have to say that I love the raw workflow! I still think that Camera Raw (Adobe) gives the most control over photos, but I really think that the process is nice. Today I edited with a faded look. Here are the photos that I edited!

These are all from the EOS M and the .cr2 file seems more versatile in a lot of ways than .RAW from the 250d but despite the sensors slight lack of versatility, it does produce a sharper image with 24mp but with the lenses I own, I probably need a softer image because of the large amount of grain that comes through when using the 250d. With limitations in arm movement post surgery, I’ve been sticking with the EOS M more because it is less than half the weight of the 250d. Since I’ve been focusing on the EOS M more, it has given me a chance to really explore the camera!
I also want to give an update on another week away from Windows. Adobe has put up blocks to just about every method of getting the Adobe Suite running, but luckily Davinci Resolve does work with Linux OS’s straight from BlackMagic themselves! Super awesome of them and I am going to be trying that out! I unfortunately keep breaking Wine through these methods and keep having to recode the interfacing… ahhhh. I still believe that the switch was the right choice because the amount of integration and speed you can get compared to Windows is truly incredible! Google has also been rolling out tweaks every week or two bringing new features in every update! I love that the development is much faster and updates are much smoother than on Windows. Overall, things on ChromeOS (officially rebranded to no space now 😂) are going super well!
I hope you enjoyed the photos and the camera talk! I’ll see you next week, stay safe!
