Lovely thought provoking post. I remember coming home from night work here in Tasmania, the wife had fallen asleep with the telly on in the bedroom. I walked in, at first I thought it was a movie. Then shortly after, the second plane hit … I realised it wasn’t a move, woke the wife up and we both stared in stunned disbelief.

It was such a surreal thing to see play out. It’s pretty difficult to grasp exactly what happened and why something so horrible would happen. I am always thankful for the precautions put in place at airports to ensure everyone is safe.

Times have certainly changed because of it, I’m not sure if it’s all good though.
